If YOU are currently in the title business with less than 60 consecutive months of industry experience and/or not an attorney in good standing, you are REQUIRED BY LAW to successfully complete a title prelicensing course approved by the New York State Department of Financial Services in order to be eligible to take the state title agent licensing exam. The DEADLINE for registering for the state licensing exam is JANUARY 1, 2015.
